Heaven on Earth, is a beautiful but a bit unknown Christmas song that suddenly got very famous after the performance of the singer Maria Arredondo’s Christmas album 2005. This will probably be one of our most beloved songs for many years to come. This arrangement is very flexible and You can choose how You want it to sound. It can be performed by band, choir and with different kind of solo instruments. There is also an ad lib. organ part that can be used for performance in churches. The solo parts are especially good for alto saxophone or flute if You don’t have a choir or a singer.
Rune Bergmann was born January 27 th 1976 in Norway. He is educated as an orchestral conductor from the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki with professor Leif Segerstam. He graduated with the highest possible score from the jury. He has also specialized himself in choir and orchestral conducting at the Royal University College of Music in Stockholm with the professors Anders Eby, Jin Wang and Jorma Panula.
Rune Bergmann is chief conductor of the Aalesund Symphony Orchestra, and work as a guest conductor for symphony orchestras and military bands both national and international. He composes and arranges music for all kinds of ensembles in many different musical genres.
