Ikke langt fra der jeg bor, inne i skogen, ligger Hestefallstjønn. Dette stykket er en beskrivelse av tjernet, med stemninger og lyder man kan føle og ane.

In the forest, not far from my house is Hestefallstjønn. Hestefallstjønn is a pond, and this music describes the atmosphere and feeling you get when standing close to it.

Stig Nordhagen (1966)
har sin utdannelse fra Norge og Nederland, som klarinettist og komponist. Han arbeider til daglig i Kristiansand Symfoniorkester. I tillegg til det utøvende virke, er han aktiv som komponist og arrangør. Det meste av hans produksjoner er for blåsere, og har blitt framført av alle profesjonelle blåseensembler i Norge. Verk av Nordhagen har også blitt fremført av symfoniorkestrene i Stavanger, Trondheim og Kristiansand.
Norhagen arbeider også som klarinett- og teori-lærer ved konservatoriet i Kristiansand.
Stig Nordhagen (1966)
has his education as clarinet-player and composer from Norway and the Netherlands.
He plays clarinet in The Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra in southern Norway.
In addition to this he is active as composer and arranger. Most of his production is made for wind-players, and his work is played by every professional wind ensemble in Norway. His works is also played by the Symphony Orchestras in Stavanger, Trondheim and Kristiansand.
Stig Nordhagen also teach clarinet and music theory at the Music Conservatory in Kristiansand.
