«Et lys imot mørketida», skrevet av Trygve Hoff (1938-1987), forteller oss mye om det å se framover i tunge stunder. Mørketida i nord har gjennom generasjoner samlet folk mens de har ventet på lyset. Ventet på julen. Fler og fler oppdager denne vakre julesangen, ikke minst etter at Oslo Gospel Choir spilte den inn i 2011 med Maria Haukaas Mittet som solist.

?The Light in the time of Darkness? by Trygve Hoff (1938-1987), tell us about how to see ahead in dark hours. The time of year without sun in the Northern parts of Norway have through generations brought people together while they were waiting for the light to come back. More and more people discover this beautiful Christmas song, especially after Oslo Gospel Choir recorded it in 2011 with Maria Haukaas Mittet as soloist.







To the conductor:

This arrangement can be performed with or without inscribed part for choir. It includes both vocal and instrumental solo parts. It is therefore necessary to work on balance depending on your soloist.Opt. SATB Choir parts for sale separately

HAAKON ESPLO (1970)

kommer fra Kolbotn i Oppegård kommune. Han er utdannet ved Norges Musikkhøgskole som blokkfløytist og har jobbet som musiker, undervist og dirigert skole- og voksenkorps flere steder. Esplo behersker en rekke instrumenter og har komponert og arrangert musikk i mange år med særlig hovedvekt på korpsbesetningen.





HAAKON ESPLO (1970)

is from a small place near Oslo named Kolbotn in the county of Oppegård. He has a bacheler from The Norwegian Academy of Music and his main instument is recorder (blockflöte). He has been working as a musician, teacher and a conductor for both young- and adult bands. Esplo masters several instruments and has been composing and arranging music for many years. Most of the production for bands.
