?Concerto for Cornet and Brass Band? is dedicated to Rune Gundersen who premiered the piece in Bergen 08 May 1994.



This is version for Bb Cornet solo with piano reduction was written by the composer in 2009.

er utdannet ved Universitetet i Bergen (matematikk) og Bergen Musikkonservatorium, der han studerte trompetspill, musikkteori/komposisjon og pedagogikk. Han har komponert profesjonelt siden slutten av 80-tallet, ved siden av undervisning, dirigering og instruksjon.

TORSTEIN AAGAARD-NILSEN (1964)



Aagaard-Nilsen is educated from the University of Bergen and Bergen

Music Conservatory. He established himself in the Bergen area by the

end of the 1980´s as a composer, arranger and conductor.

His list of works includes many compositions and arrangements for both

brass- and wind band.
