ROBIN HOOD SUITE NO. 1

Robin Hood suite 1 består av fire satser som er hentet i fra en forestilling skrevet til Norges Musikkorps Forbund sine gule sommerkurs. Komponisten er inspirert av den klassiske historien om Robin Hood; Han som stjeler fra de rike for å gi til de fattige. I musikken beskriver komponisten ulike karakterer og steder i historien. I første sats møter vi den slemme og grådige Prins Johan. I andre sats tar vi turen inn den store og mektige Sherwoodskogen. I tredje og fjerde sats får vi hilse på den vakre
Lady Marion, samt den modige og listige Robin Hood. Musikken er skrevet med tanke på unge musikanter. I 2021 vil det også bli gitt ut en Robin Hood suite 2.




ROBIN HOOD SUITE NO. 1

Robin Hood suite 1 is four movements collected from a play written for a summer course arranged by The Norwegian Band Federation. The Composer is inspired by the story of Robin Hood; He who steals from the rich and gives to the poor. The composer describes different charters and places from the story in his music. In the first movement you will meet the mean and greedy Price John. The second movement takes place in the enormous Sherwood Forrest. In the third and fourth movement you will meet the beautiful Lady Marion together with the brave and clever Robin Hood. The Music is written especially for young bands. In 2021 there will be a Robin Hood suite 2 available.




ROAR MINDE FAGERLI (1981)

Roar Minde Fagerli er utdannet trompetist og pedagog ved Norges musikkhøgskole (Bachelor) og Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium (Master) i Danmark.
Minde Fagerli har også tatt digitale dirigentstudier og digitale skolekorpsstudier ved Universitetet i Stavanger.

Til daglig jobber han i korpsseksjonen i Askøy kulturskole og som freelancemusiker.
Han komponerer og arrangerer musikk for korps.




ROAR MINDE FAGERLI (1981)

Roar Minde Fagerli holds a Bachelor and Master in trumpet and pedagogy from The Norwegian Academy of Music and The Royal Academy of Music (Aarhus, DK).
He has also studied conducting at the University of Stavanger.

Minde Fagerli works at the band section at Askøy School of Culture and as a freelance musician.
He both compose and arrange music for bands.
